Ramsey is a Minneapolis public K-8 fine arts magnet school serving south Minneapolis.  Located at the corner of Nicollet Avenue and 50th Street, the hillside campus setting features public art and gardens, shade trees, a colorful playground and space to run.  built in 1931, Ramsey school served as a junior high for many decades.

Today Ramsey School offers a comprehensive basic skills program integrated with international and fine arts content, Spanish language instruction is offered in grades K-8.  Orchestral string instrucment instruction is required in grades 1-6.
